DESCRIPTION:San Antonio Islanders are invited to volunteer at the San Antonio Food Bank Urban Farm.\nServe in the 25-acre working farm cultivating fresh produce to provide healthy and nutritious foods for distribution. Islanders will work as a group to assist with planting, harvesting, caring for and cleaning fruits and vegetables and other edible plants. Other duties may include weeding, digging, hoeing and watering the field.\nAnd don’t forget to wear you Islander blue and green!\nFamily members welcome. More detail and liability waivers will be included on-site.\n
