Enjoy some music, tasty snacks and an epic (confetti-filled) countdown to the start of Homecoming 2020. Plus, join the Alumni Association as we paint the anchor white just for Homecoming. The anchor tradition dates back to 1947 and the days of the Tarpons and the University of Corpus Christi. Help us get the week started off right!

Homecoming OFFICIALLY begins at 5:00pm with an official countdown…and did we mention the confetti cannons!?

Join us for a Bluesday Tuesday like no other! Grab your Islander Blue and join Texas A&M-Corpus Christi as we show our Islander Spirit to celebrate Homecoming 2020. Community members, supporters, Alumni, and students are ALL invited to join the fun! And share your photo and Islander spirit with us on social media by using #BluesdayTuesday and #IslanderForever for a chase to win some awesome prizes!

‘Welcome Home’ Reception

As you make your way into town, meet fellow Alumni at the Alumni Center for a ‘Welcome Home’ Reception. Take the edge off your travels with an adult beverage, enjoy some tasty snacks, purchase some gameday gear for Saturday, and get your picture with Izzy the Islander. Plus, travel and visitor information will be available to make your time in Corpus Christi a bit more enjoyable!

Alumni Association Annual Meeting

Hear about all the amazing things your Alumni Association has been up to, plus, hear some updates from our Houston, San Antonio, and Austin Chapters. The new Board of Directors also will be voted on at this time as well!

Annual Homecoming Honors Banquet

Attend the Annual Islander Homecoming Honors Banquet to celebrate our Distinguished Alumni and Islander Athletic Hall of Honor inductee. Ticket prices are $35 for recent graduates (2014 or later) and $50 for all other alumni and individuals. Tables of 8 are also available for $350. The event will feature the following Individuals:

Join the Alumni Association and the Island Ambassadors for a tour of campus. Your experience will include exclusive behind-the-scene stops that you’ll only be able to see on this tour! $10 tickets include a full breakfast with your bite-size favorites, a custom mimosa bar, and exclusive access to the Island University campus. Stops include a behind-the-scenes look at the Performing Arts Center, a peek at the new driverless ‘Surge,’ and a look at the Bell Library’s iCreate lab. Children 10 and under are free.

Relive your treasured time on Ward Island with specialty class reunions, for all Tarpon graduates (Classes 1973-1948) and the Class of 1995 (25th anniversary). New for 2020, our new Reunion programming gives you the opportunity to reconnect with an old roommate, friends, and fellow graduates. Attendees and their guest(s) will be treated to a catered lunch, along with special programming.
