THE ISLANDER
RING CELEBRATION

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2020

PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
6300 OCEAN DRIVE | CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS

Though changes have been made to this event to allow for safe social distancing, the Alumni Association and over 51,000 Alumni are elated to continue this tradition with nearly 200 individuals receiving their ring this semester.

Dressing in your sharpest attire, recipients will choose from one (1) of six (6) available time slots, where you can be accompanied by up to four (4) guests (including children). Upon arrival of your designated time, you will check-in with our friendly Alumni Relations staff, enter the Performing Arts Center’s auditorium, and receive your Islander Ring on-stage, as you hear about this rich campus tradition. Once your ring is safely around your finger, each group will proceed outside to take part in the Islander Ring wish and celebrate the occasion will multiple designated photo locations.

The Islander Ring symbolizes pride, achievement, and university spirit. Receiving your ring during the official Ring Celebration signifies that you are close to becoming a distinguished member of the Islander Alumni Association. Until you graduate, you will wear your ring with the Islanders name facing toward you.

RSVPs close on Wednesday, November 4th at 9:00am. Due to social distancing guidelines, walk-ins cannot be accommodated at the door. If you do not wish to participate, rings will be available for pick-up at the Woo Sung Lee Alumni Welcome Center beginning Monday, November 9th at 9:00am.
