Who knew a “like” could be so powerful?
Hey Islander, do you want to share your Islander Pride with a family of over 51,000 Alumni? Our Social Media Ambassador Program is a fun opportunity for Alumni to stay involved virtually! We are looking for alumni who love their Island University, and are excited to share their pride and engage the thousands of members of our Alumni Association through various social media channels.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?
• Have at least 500 friends/followers/connections on the social media channel used for the program.
• Following the Islander Alumni Association channels and turning on notification on platform of choosing.
• Post on a regular basis in the forms of comments, tags, shares, and original content a small number of times each month (don’t worry, we’ll get more into this later)
• Agree to adhere to some basic social media guidelines.
• And finally add some sort of “TAMU-CC Alumnus” identifier or flair to the bio of your social media channel.
