The Islander Alumni Association is thrilled to announce the launce of its Alumni & Friends Travel program.  Open to all alumni, family and friends, our program offers tours to destinations around the world. We invite you to embark on unforgettable journeys designed to inspire, educate, and immerse you in the world’s most extraordinary destinations. Our curated travel experiences offer more than just sightseeing. With seasoned travel guides, each trip is an opportunity for lifelong learning, deep cultural engagement, and meaningful connections with fellow DU alumni. Whether you’re wandering through ancient ruins, savoring world-class cuisine, or exploring breathtaking landscapes, every moment is enriched by expert insight and shared discovery.

Trip Highlights

Visit the lively Pisac Market, learn to make traditional empanadas, and explore the pottery studio of local artist Pablo Seminario.

Enjoy a scenic train ride through the Andes to reach the iconic Incan citadel.

Explore one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and walk through the sacred Temple of the Sun.

Discover ancient ruins like Sacsayhuaman and Coricancha, shop at the San Pedro Market, and enjoy an evening of folklore music and dance.

Tour the historic center with stops at the Cathedral, Government Palace, and San Francisco Monastery, and sample Peru’s famous Pisco Sours.
