Homecoming Headquarters
Woo Sung Lee Alumni Welcome Center

M-R: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; F: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Lee Alumni Welcome Center becomes the Homecoming Headquarters and will be open to welcome guests for ticket and merch pick up. Open until 6 p.m. on Friday, February 27.
– SUNDAY, February 22th –
Homecoming Opening Day
Islanders baseball participates in the Kleberg Bank College Classic and the Homecoming Court takes over the concourse at Whataburger Field with activities and games. Wear your favorite Islander gear and pick up your official Islander Homecoming schedule and stickers! Tickets coming soon!
– TUESDAY, February 24 –
City-Wide Bluesday Tuesday
The ENTIRE Coastal Bend
Everyone in the Coastal Bend is invited to wear the color blue on Tuesday, Feb. 24, for a city-wide proclamation of Bluesday Tuesday. The proclamation will be read at 11 a.m. in Corpus Christi City Hall.
Anchors Aweigh
Anchor Plaza at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi
6300 Ocean Drive, First Entrance
3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The Island campus will showcase our Islander Spirit at Anchor Plaza and East Lawn. The event includes games, snacks, music, and more. In Anchor Plaza, the Islander Alumni Association and Student Alumni Association invite the campus community to learn more about TAMU-CC’s oldest tradition, the painting of the anchor at Anchors Aweigh. Event takes place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with confetti cannon setting off at 5 p.m.
– WEDNESDAY, February 25th –
Student vs. Faculty/Staff Basketball Game
The always-entertaining students vs. faculty/staff basketball game will take place at the Dugan Wellness Center at 7 p.m.
– THURSDAY, February 26th –
Women’s Basketball game vs. East Texas A&M
Students are admitted free with a current SandDollar$ ID. Time is 7 p.m. at Hilliard Center.
– FRIDAY, February 27th –
Lighting of the “I”
The beloved tradition kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on the East Lawn.
Homecoming Alumni Honors Banquet presented by XX
University Center Lonestar Room
Doors open at 6:30 PM / Dinner & Program at 7:00 PM
The Islander Homecoming Honors Banquet will take place in the University Center Lonestar Room beginning at 7:00 p.m. and will recognize the achievements of Islander alumni as well as one Islander Athletic Hall of Honor inductee.
Toast! Reunion Mixer presented by XXX
Let’s Make a Toast! Event at BUS for all alumni to attend and celebrating the Class 10th (2016) 25th (2001) and UCC Tarpons Class Reunions! This year will also feature the 35th Anniversary of the Masters in Public Administration program.

Islander Block Party and Tailgate
Hilliard Center | Parking Lot 3
1901 N. Shoreline Blvd.
2 p.m. to 5:00 PM
The official Homecoming Block Party will take place at the Hilliard Center parking lot between 2-5 p.m. The public is invited to join the Islander faithful as we cheer our teams on to victory. This free event is family-friendly and will include games, inflatables, and more!
