2023 BOARD NOMINATION FORM

The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Alumni Association Board of Directors consists of twenty voting Directors, each serving a three-year term, Chapter Presidents, and six Executive Officers. These individuals meet four times per year (quarterly) to discuss various topics concerning the Alumni Association, Alumni activities, and other topics supporting the Alumni Association and other University missions.

The strongest candidates for the Board are Individuals who:
• Already involved and invested with the University in some way, and willing to dedicate addition resources, time, and effort for the future of TAMU-CC, it’s alumni, and students
• Attend events to engage alumni, staff and others
• Have volunteered with the Alumni Association or been involved with the University in some capacity
• Willing to promote programming for the good will of the Alumni Association
• Are connected with other alumni and/or can otherwise influence their involvement with the organization or TAMU-CC

National Alumni Association Board members are expected to:
• Attend Quarterly Board Meetings
• Attend Alumni Events
• Nominate candidates for the annual Alumni Awards
• Participate in at least one Committee
• Donate at least $150 to the Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship and the University
• Volunteer at events such as Ring Ceremony, Commencement, and other events
• Contribute to the success of Homecoming including purchasing tickets

Nominations submitted by Wednesday, February 8th by 11:59 PM (CDT) will be taken into consideration. Terms of selected members will begin on June 1, 2023 and end on May 31, 2026.

Board Retreat– Saturday, June 10, 2023
Quarter I – Wednesday, July 26, 2023
Quarter II – Wednesday, October 25, 2023
Quarter III – Wednesday, January 24, 2024
Quarter IV – Wednesday, April 24, 2024
