Faculty & Staff Legacy Luncheon

Noon to 1:00pm / University Center, Anchor Ballroom

Are you a proud Alumnus working on the Island as a full-time staff or faculty member? Join us for a special lunch with your fellow Islander Alums as you hear from a surprise speaker. All attendees will receive a limited edition Islander T-shirt and a free lunch!

‘Welcome Home’ Open House

Pick-up your Alumni Homecoming tickets, itineraries, and some goodies for your 2017 Islander Homecoming Weekend. Enjoy some complimentary snacks and refreshments, browse through an old yearbook, and say ‘hello’ to our Alumni Staff. Plus, those who stop by with be entered to win some great prizes including Islander Swag and custom Yeti Products!

Islander Alumni Association Annual Meeting

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm / University Cente, Lone Star Ballroom A

All University Alumni are invited to hear about all of the amazing things your Alumni Association has been up to. Get an update from Board President, Ed Cantu ’81, learn about upcoming events, plus, hear some updates from our Houston and San Antonio Chapter Presidents about the exciting work being done “away from home.” Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote and install new directors to the Alumni Association Board.

Lighting of the ‘I’

6:30 to 7:00pm / Anchor Plaza (between University & Engineering Building)

For the first-time ever, Alumni have the opportunity to take part in one of Homecoming’s most popular events. Join the TAMU-CC student body, to light the ‘I’ as we officially kick-off Homecoming weekend.

Homecoming Honors Banquet

Reception 6:00 to 7:00pm; Program starts at 7:00pm / University Center, Anchor Ballroom

Attend the Annual Islander Homecoming Honors Banquet to celebrate our Distinguished Alumni and Islander Athletic Hall of Honor inductees. Ticket prices are $35 for recent graduates (2012 or later) and $50 for all other alumni and individual. Tables of 8 are also available for $350. Tickets can be purchased online using the button below.

Coffee on Campus: Morning Tours

9:00 to 11am / Bayside Parking Garage

Come see all of the changes first-hand on the Island, visit with our Alumni Board and enjoy breakfast on us! Stop by anytime between 9 and 11am and get a cart or walking tour of campus. All Alumni guests will also receive a free gift as they see behind the scenes of their growing Alma Mater.

Islanders Women’s Basketball vs. Lamar

Kick-off your Saturday as the Islanders Women Basketball team fight for Southland Conference supremacy against the Lady Cardinals of Lamar University. Alumni & Friends Tailgate Party

4:00 pm to 6:30 pm / 300 Block of Resaca

Come celebrate Homecoming by joining your Islander Alumni Association & Islander Athletics for a family friendly Pre-Game Homecoming Party! $5 ticket includes a full plate of bar-b-que from Howard’s, drinks, including wine and local beer from Lazy Beach, games, activities for the kids, and awesome giveaways. Children 10 and Under are FREE!
