As a first-generation college student, my parents and I knew there would be some hurdles, but scholarships have made a BIG difference, in part to generous alumni like you. And that’s how the Islander Forever Scholarship was born. Formed in 2017, it was created to help Islanders who love our campus, but may need a little bit of help covering tuition and other fees.

ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The Islander Forever Endowed Scholarship was created a few short years ago by the Islander Alumni Association to empower the next wave of Islanders. After forming in the 1970s as the Corpus Christi State Alumni Association, the organization sought to make a greater impact on students currently attending classes on the Island.
Each year, the scholarship is awarded to several TAMU-CC students with a 2.75 GPA or higher, and that are involved in some form of campus activities, organization or athletics team, with preference given to those students taking leadership roles.
The scholarship now awards several $2,500 scholarships each year and is valued at nearly $200,000.00
