ALREADY HAVE A RING
BUT HAVE NEVER TAKEN PART IN A CEREMONY?
Receive your Islander Ring in the presence of your friends, family and university dignitaries at the Islander Ring Ceremony. The bi-annual ceremony is a campus tradition for our students who have made it to their junior year. The Islander Ring symbolizes pride, achievement, and university spirit. Receiving your ring during the official Ring Ceremony signifies that you are close to becoming a distinguished member of the Islander Alumni Association. Until you graduate, you will wear your ring with the Islanders name facing toward you.
Ceremony participants will receive their ring in a beautiful keepsake box that contains a single sand dollar, an exclusive for ceremony participants. Immediately following the ceremony, students participate in the Islander Ring Wish by tossing their sand dollar into the Lee Plaza fountain.
